What's Growing Seasonally

On this page, I hope to record what crops are ripe when on our small farm here in North Carolina.

March - planted potatoes  - organic russet and organic Corolla. Jerusalem Artichokes, Onions, Eggs.  Growing sweet potato slips, tomato plants, pepper plants, onion plants, fennel, cilantro, basil

April - - Our first asparagus!  Picked a half a handful and put in the fridge waiting for it's brothers to join.  Of course, we have plenty of eggs.  Asparagus, Onions, Lettuce. Cilantro, Oregano, Thyme, Mint.


May - Still picking asparagus, lettuce is ready, and have eggs.  Most of the garden is planted except for what may be added as plants in progress.
