Gifts from our Creator

It is such a warm and loving feeling when we receive gifts from God. We had to be away from our homestead quite a bit as my husband’s parents were sick and passed, but God kept it going and left us gifts besides. I was learning to weed by the use of a weed wacker in my kitchen garden, when I found new things I did not plant. Anise Hyssop was one gift, Borage plants were another, and appropriately he also left me a “Forget Me Not” (see original photo for article). In addition, I found a stand of marigolds that I had spread some seeds from last year, so to mark the edges, I started digging holes, then looking for marigolds to fill them (backwards, I know). I had made 18 holes, and sure enough, I found exactly 18 marigold plants. In addition, we got another gift we were not expecting. A calf was born on July 9th. God is awesome!
